About the Hackathon

A national-level hackathon hosted by CARE College Of Engineering where students collaborate to solve real-world problems through technology.

Participants will work continuously for 24 hours, transforming ideas into working prototypes with guidance from mentors and evaluation by industry experts. CARE HACK'26 encourages innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving across emerging domains, fostering an environment where creativity meets technology.

CARE HACK was born from a simple idea — give students a real playground to hack, collaborate, and ship something meaningful in just 24 hours. No boundaries, only possibilities.

General Guidelines

  • This hackathon is open to all engineering students from colleges within India.
  • Interested students must register on the designated link by submitting their details on or before 21-Feb-2026(*Extended).
  • The list of teams who have submitted the presentation will be officially communicated via email with their assigned panel desks before 21-Feb-2026.
  • E-certificates of participation will be issued to those who register.
  • Participants must arrange their own travel and accommodation. Accommodation will not be provided on campus.
  • Retiring room, Lunch, Dinner and refreshments will be provided to participants during the 24 hours Hackathon Finale.
  • Code of Conduct: Participants should adhere to a code of conduct that promotes inclusivity, respect, and professionalism. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Hackathon rules, format, or prizes at any time.
  • For queries, participants can contact via email at "iic@care.ac.in" or through the provided contact number.
  • During night time hours, a maximum of two members per team are permitted to stay at the venue.
  • All participants are required to begin the project from scratch at the venue; pre-developed or previously prepared work is not allowed.

Team Formation

Each team must consist of exactly 4 members.

Check-in & Registration

All teams must check in at the registration desk before the event starts. Registration is open from 09:00 AM – 10:00 AM on 27/03/2026.

Bonafide Certificate

Submission of a Bonafide certificate from the respective college/institution is mandatory during check-in.

Event Duration

The hackathon runs for 24 hours continuously — from 11:00 AM on 27/03/2026 to 11:00 AM on 28/03/2026. Participants are expected to stay for the entire duration.

Minimum Presence

At least 2 persons per team must remain at their designated workstation throughout the event.

Maintain professionalism, respect others, and avoid any form of misconduct at all times.
